Gadget Club – Terms and Conditions of Sale and Services

These Terms apply to all sales of products and services made by Gadget Club (“we”, “us”, “our”) to customers (“you”, “your”).
By purchasing or using our products or services you agree to these Terms.

2. Our Products and Services
We supply consumer technology goods, accessories, and setup/support services.
Product descriptions, specifications, and prices are shown on our website or quotation documents.
All reasonable care is taken to ensure accuracy; however, minor variations may occur.
3. Ordering and Payment
Orders are accepted when we issue written confirmation or take payment.
Prices include VAT unless stated otherwise.
Payment is due at the time of order unless credit terms are agreed in writing.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order prior to dispatch if there is an obvious error or stock issue.
4. Delivery / Collection
Delivery times are estimates only; delays will be communicated promptly.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery, but ownership remains with us until payment is received in full.
You should check goods on receipt and report any damage or shortages within 48 hours.
5. Guarantee and After-Sales Support
All new products are supplied with a standard 12-month guarantee covering manufacturing defects.
Some manufacturers or extended-warranty plans may offer a longer period; where applicable, details will be supplied in writing.
The guarantee does not cover accidental damage, misuse, software corruption, or normal wear and tear.
Services such as setup, configuration, or data transfer carry a 30-day workmanship guarantee.
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Sale of Goods Act 1979 remain unaffected.
6. Returns and Cancellations
For Consumers (UK)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you may cancel most online or telephone orders within 14 days of delivery for a full refund.
Products must be returned in their original condition with packaging.
Custom-built or personalised items are exempt once work has begun.
You are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty.
Refunds will be issued within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods.
For Business Customers
Returns are accepted only at our discretion and may be subject to a restocking charge.
7. Services and Support Visits
When we provide installation or support:
You must ensure safe access and adequate working space.
We are not responsible for pre-existing faults, software issues, or data loss arising from repair work.
Any estimated completion times are given in good faith but are not guaranteed.
8. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any matter which cannot be excluded under UK law.
Otherwise, our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the price paid for the goods or service.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss such as data loss, loss of profit, or business interruption.
9. Data Protection
We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR.
10. Events Beyond Our Control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control (e.g., courier delays, supply shortages, extreme weather).
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
